The Greenstone Guide to Austin & The Hil Country

BULL CREEK DISTRICT PARK NORTH

ABOUT THE PARK

This seems to be a favorite for mountain bikers as the trails are well adjusted to it. It is a good hike and bike trail which does have a few water features and a big pool with some waterfalls. If you stay on the West side of the trail then you can hike all the way to the Bull Creek District Park. The East side of the creek is a little more interesting, but 1/2 mile down you have to cross over to the West side, and this can be difficult if the creek is running strong because it gets about 6" deep here.

HOW TO GET THERE

From 360 turn East on Spicewood Springs Rd. Take the first right which is Old Spicewood Springs Rd. and go past the apartment complex on the left. Go slow and look for the trail entrance sign on the left. The parking lot will be immediately on the right past the trail sign.
