ABOUT THE PLACEUPDATE: Shades is gone! It is now The Pier, and it sucks! I went there once at the beginning of the season and I stared at the "menu" for 10 minutes trying to find something to eat. Shades was pretty good, but The Pier has a horrible food selection. It's mostly things like small sandwiches and crap you'd eat as a snack. Nothing substantial enough to really call "dinner". No need to ever go back there again. Plus, the boat docks there are horrible. My boat has been severely bashed and scarred on several occasions there. Never ever park your boat in their slips! Not ever!
HOW TO GET THEREAcross the lake from Lakeway, heading upstream it is on the right hand side. Look for the sign (see picture below).

This is Shades when it is closed in the winter. Normally it would be a bit more colorful.
