THE CABIN

The cabin is approximately 1300 sq. ft., and there is a matching 15' x 15' storage shed. There is telephone, electricity, central air, and high speed satellite internet. Water comes from a 60' well which produces 40-60 gallons per minute, and even during the big drought of 2011 the well stayed full to the top. There is a laundry room, toilet and shower.

Designed and built by Richard Laughin, a well known builder in the area, this home won a national award from one of the architectural magazines. The home is all modern construction, but lots of reclaimed antique materials were used to give it that authentic Texas Hill Country style.
